Mid-Drive Motor Architecture at This Price Point
The Drax Sport runs a brushless mid-drive motor β not a hub-drive motor like most electric dirt bikes under $1,000. Mid-drive motors place the power unit at the bike's center of gravity and deliver torque through the chain drive, producing 200 NΒ·m of wheel-side force and 35-degree climbing capability. Hub-drive motors at comparable pricing cannot replicate this level of controlled traction on demanding terrain.
45-Mile Range from a 1,104Wh Battery
The 48V 23Ah lithium-ion battery delivers 1,104Wh of total capacity β producing up to 45 miles of range per charge under optimal conditions. Actual range varies with speed, rider weight, terrain, and temperature. The 6-hour charge time using the included UL-certified charger makes overnight charging a practical part of the ownership routine.
Complete Safety Certification at Under $1,000
The Drax Sport carries UL 2272 full vehicle certification, UN 38.3 battery transport certification, and a UL-certified charger. These are independently verified safety credentials β not just claimed specifications. Most competitors in this price segment list certifications as "Not confirmed" or omit them entirely.
3-Speed System That Grows With the Rider
Low mode tops at 15 mph β a controlled speed for beginners and younger teens. Medium mode reaches 22 mph for trail cruising. High mode unlocks 40+ mph for experienced riders seeking full performance. The three-tier speed system makes the Drax Sport a practical long-term machine rather than a bike the rider outgrows after a single season.
Rider Fit Guide
| Recommended Age | 13 years and older (riders under 18 require adult supervision at all times) |
|---|---|
| Recommended Height | 130cm to 183cm (4'3" to 6'0") β seat height: 30.19 inches |
| Maximum Weight Capacity | 265 lb (approx. 120 kg) |
| Suitable Riding Environments | Unpaved off-road trails, backyard/open-field riding, farm and ranch terrain, sand dunes and gravel terrain β off-road use only |
Ideal Rider: We built the Drax Sport for teen riders aged 13β17 who are ready for a more powerful off-road electric bike, and for adult riders who want a low-maintenance, zero-emission alternative for backyard, farm, or trail use. The three-speed system (Low/Medium/High) makes the Drax Sport a practical first bike for beginners, while the 2700W peak output and 200 NΒ·m wheel-side torque deliver the performance that more experienced riders demand.
Who Also Fits: Households prioritizing documented safety certification β UL 2272, UN 38.3, and a UL-certified charger β and riders who want U.S.-backed support with OEM parts in domestic warehouses. The 265 lb max load capacity covers most teen and adult riders, and the 30.19-inch seat height suits riders from 4'3" to 6'0".
Riders under 13 years old, riders over 265 lb, and anyone intending street or public road use.

Description
Product Overview
We designed the X-PRO Drax Sport for riders who want genuine mid-drive electric dirt bike performance without the premium price. This electric dirt bike runs on a brushless mid-drive motor producing 2700W of peak power and 200 NΒ·m of wheel-side torque β delivering the kind of off-road traction, 35-degree hill-climbing capability, and controlled acceleration that hub-drive motors in this price range cannot replicate. Paired with a 48V 23Ah lithium-ion battery providing up to 45 miles of range per charge, the Drax Sport is built for teen and adult riders aged 13 and up who want a capable, certified off-road machine at an accessible price.
Riding Performance & Engineering
The mid-drive architecture is what sets the Drax Sport apart from hub-drive competitors at similar price points. Mid-drive motors place the power unit at the bike's center of gravity, delivering torque through the chain β resulting in stable, controlled traction across uneven terrain and inclines up to 35 degrees. Three speed modes β Low (15 mph), Medium (22 mph), and High (40+ mph) β let new riders start safely and progress at their own pace, while experienced riders unlock full performance on demanding trails. Safety certifications are documented, not just claimed. The Drax Sport holds UL 2272 full vehicle certification, the battery carries UN 38.3 transport certification, and the included charger is UL-certified. The system is IPX4 water resistance rated for outdoor trail use. Dual disc brakes provide consistent stopping power front and rear. Front hydraulic shock absorbers and a rear adjustable oil-pressure nitrogen shock absorber deliver stable handling on rough surfaces.
Off-Road Use Only
The Drax Sport is for off-road use only. It cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. It is designed for backyards, farms, private land, and off-road riding areas. Maximum load capacity is 265 lb β do not exceed this limit. Recommended minimum age is 13. Adult supervision is required at all times.

X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Drax Sport, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a dedicated U.S.-based support team, and a full OEM replacement parts inventory stocked before the vehicle ever goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days. Support is handled in-house β not routed to an overseas contact form.

Why Buy From Us
Company History
The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory β all managed in-house from the United States.
The X-Pro Brand
X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles β all sold with full dealer backing. When X-Pro entered the market, the affordable powersports space in the United States was largely defined by short-term sellers offering products with no replacement parts, limited or no after-sales support, and inconsistent quality control. Riders who wanted reliable support had to pay premium prices from established brands. X-Pro was built to bridge that gap.
Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro
For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike β a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event. And for parents, X-Pro is often the answer to a simple question: how do you give your child the experience of riding without spending several thousand dollars on a brand-name machine they may outgrow in two years? X-Pro makes that gift possible, backed by the same parts availability and warranty support that come with every unit we sell. Always ensure the vehicle's speed rating, size, and weight capacity are appropriate for the rider's age, size, and experience level.
Warehouses & Fulfillment
We operate two company-owned warehouses β one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.
After-Sales & Warranty
Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team β customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.
Parts Availability
We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed β not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.
Team
Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists β all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.

Before You Buy
1 Β· Stay Connected β We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers β our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 Β· Shipping & Delivery β FedEx / UPS Ground
Your vehicle ships via FedEx or UPS Ground from our U.S. warehouse. Adult signature is mandatory at delivery. After 3 missed delivery attempts, the item is returned β and you are responsible for all return freight fees. Inspect the packaging before you sign. If the box is severely damaged, refuse delivery immediately and contact us. Minor cosmetic marks on the packaging are normal and do not affect the vehicle.
3 Β· Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure β incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
4 Β· Battery Maintenance β Electric Models
Charge the battery monthly even when not in use. Maintain the battery between 30% and 80% charge at all times for maximum lifespan. Unplug immediately after charging is complete β leaving the charger connected during storage causes permanent battery damage that is not covered under warranty. Do not use high-pressure washers on the motor or battery. Water intrusion will damage electronics. Store the vehicle in a dry area when not in use.
5 Β· Real-World Performance
Top speed and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, incline, battery charge level, and ambient temperature. Electric models also experience reduced power output below 30% battery charge. Do not expect lab-rated results in all real-world riding conditions.
6 Β· Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), charge the battery to 50%β60% before storing β do not store fully charged or fully depleted. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust. Disconnect the battery if storing for more than 60 days. Before returning the vehicle to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level.
7 Β· Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 13 and older. Riders under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and full protective gear β helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity must not be exceeded. This vehicle is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or public property in any U.S. state.
8 Β· Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3β5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the motor and drivetrain components to seat properly. Use Low or Medium speed mode during break-in. After break-in, re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
